Tomorrow it all starts. Richard Watson and I will be starting at Springer Mountain in North Georgia. Joining us for the first week will be my cousin Tom Pinion and a friend Ted Carothers. They will be there to laugh at and with us, and to provide encouragement.Today we will be doing shake downs of four gear and wondering what we are getting into.

ReplyDeleteOk Kris, we hit About 30 miles up the trail. It has not gotten easier but the views without folage are fantastic. As far as it being what I thought it would be I am too tired to know. I will be up dating the blog whenever I am where I get a signal. The first two weeks I will not have the computer with me it will be at a cousins house which I will get back to periodically.
